A Look Ahead at 2011

We have an exciting year lying ahead of us. This is very likely comparable to our year of getting out of debt. We had a BIG goal, a plan, dedication, and a lot of support.
This year we have 3 primary areas that we are focusing on, besides the normal adventures of life with six kids.
- Christina is pregnant with baby Scott # 7, due in September!
- Nathaniel has set a course to graduate with his bachelor’s degree in… September
- As a family we have committed to say NO this year to spending so we can save towards a house.
Well, if you can’t tell, that’s some big news. We are super excited about another baby. We will write more about this soon, but for now if you read this and this, you will get a good glimpse of what’s been going on in our hearts and minds.

We were actually blessed to be able to able to pay cash for a 15 passenger van last February when we outgrew our minivan. So technically we’re set for the next few! (ahem)
The van is known is Monica aka, The Monster.

Sharon, I’ve been following your spend less year as I have time. We definitely have committed to that this year. We let the spending get away from us the past couple years (still remaining debt free). Somehow within the first month we managed to save $1500.
