Holy Hip Hop

Up to this point, I had not been a big fan of rap and hip-hop. The main reasons being, the stuff I new about was either terribly offensive and nothing I could relate to, or terribly cheesy and nothing I would want to admit listening to. But as this video explains, today there is a move of God honoring, lyrically stimulating, musically inspiring hip-hop artists that are redeeming that music genre. Now, when my kids decide they like the beats, I won’t dread it, because I know there are options that are honorable.
Have you ever had that nagging feeling that there was something more to do with your life? I don’t remember exactly when it started for me...
Cool video. I’ve been amazed at how good (musically) and how deep (lyrically) some of the more recent Christian HipHop/Rap is.
