Lead Worship

Actually, in the setting that I’m thinking of, I don’t know if I would do such a great job.  See, I can’t get through a whole verse without crying.  Be it a hymn, or a “prom song for Jesus”, I get so overwhelmed with gratitude that my voice gives out, and I choke back tears.

Then again, maybe that’s more of what we need.  When I think of worship, I think of life.  It’s not just singing a few songs before the preaching on Sunday mornings.  It is all of life.  It’s waking, breathing, talking to your spouse and children and friends and coworkers, paying for you gas and groceries, serving others, balancing your budget, sleeping, etc, etc.  You will either worship God, or you will worship yourself, money, pleasure and all the gods of this world.

When we live with that understanding, it changes everything!  It has definitely changed our lives over the past nine months.  Worship God all week with a passionate life, and on Sunday when you gather for “worship” you will really know what it is to worship.

Time is REALLY running out.  Send your ideas for the 100 day debt free countdown!
