It’s Time For Change!

Ok, you are probably wondering why there is a picture of Obama on here. Don’t worry, this doesn’t get political. But since he is the current pioneer of change, I thought maybe he could make this case for me. Read on…

You may notice changes to the blog, especially if you are detailed oriented.

• I consolidated “If I Were Debt Free”, “A Beautiful Collision”, and “natedavidscott.com”
• I will not be updating “ifiweredebtfree.wordpress.com” and longer as this is now the new ifiweredebtfree
• I will not be updating tumblr any longer as this is now the new natedavidscott.com
• I changed the feeds, so if you are currently subscribed you should be getting all your same updates
• I use twitter for mini updates-check the side bar

Why?!?!?!?

• I loved how easy it was to post on tumblr, but it didn’t allow for comments…not much of a community
• With life getting more complex, and yet more focused (all at the same time) I didn’t want to think about having to post here, there, and everywhere–or you having to wonder where the updates were coming from
• Becoming debt free is currently such a huge part of my life that it = natedavidscott just as much as being a husband and father does
• I wanted something flexible too, hopefully without having to start a new blog when a new season of life comes along…i think natedavidscott will do…it’s now a brand, a household name.
• I like twitter because all the cool kids play on it
• I know the site may be lacking, but it’s about all i can do with a wordpress hosted blog. one day i’ll host my own, but not until i’m debt free

Have fun & check out the older posts. I guess I’ve been officially blogging for a year-the oldest post on “A Beautiful Collision” was from April ‘07. Decide for yourself if i have improved, dis-improved, or should just plain stop.
